Construction

Wide screw housing riverted to saddle (1) in 4 spots to ensure full engagement of the 8 threads(2)
One piece extended band liner(3) provides isolation of the hose from the band slots ,thus preventing extrusion and shear of the hose cover through the slots
Wide 12.7mm*0.65mm and 14.2*0.65mm thick band with 8 Nm recommended tightening torque

European type hose clampalso called worm-Gear hose clamps,these are the most commonly used hose clamps, they are econamical and reusable. These clamps have banding that detaches from the housing so you can install and remove them without disconnecting the hose or tube. Not recommended for use with sillcone (soft) hose or tube .
